How Sinoa Works
Clear, public-facing policy information for how Sinoa operates, how your data is handled, and how to use the product responsibly.
1. Supported ECG export formats
Sinoa works with ECG recordings exported from supported devices. Support depends on the format and structure of the exported data.
- Apple Watch ECG export (1-lead)
- Google Pixel Watch ECG export (1-lead, where supported)
- KardiaMobile ECG export
- EMAY ECG export
2. Complete, Short, and Limited Recordings
Sinoa works best with a recording that meets expected duration and quality for the device used. When a recording is shorter or incomplete, Sinoa may still show useful context without treating it like a full result.
- Complete recording: eligible for a full Pattern Summary and standard trend use
- Short recording: may show limited segment-based evidence from the complete segments available
- Very short or invalid recording: may show waveform preview only or could not be processed reliably because of signal or format issues
3. Trend and Comparison Scope
Full Pattern Summaries require a recording that meets expected duration and quality for the device used. Shorter or incomplete recordings may still show waveform previews or limited segment-based evidence, but they are excluded from standard trends and full-summary comparisons.
4. No Fake Completeness
Sinoa does not pad, tile, or otherwise treat a shorter recording as if it were a complete 30-second recording.
