Data Retention Policy
Clear, public-facing policy information for how Sinoa operates, how your data is handled, and how to use the product responsibly.
1. What We Retain
- Uploaded source ECG files are retained for short processing windows and supported user access while available.
- Pattern Summaries and derived result records are retained to support history, sharing, and trends features for the active plan window.
- Security and operational logs are retained to help protect the service.
2. Recording Completeness and History
- Complete recordings may produce a full Pattern Summary and can appear in trends.
- Short, too-short, invalid, and legacy-unclassified recordings may remain visible in history.
- Short, too-short, invalid, and legacy-unclassified recordings are excluded from standard trends and full-summary comparisons.
3. Deletion
Advanced cleanup can delete generated Pattern Summaries, uploaded source data, pattern history, or all supported retained data without deleting the account.
Account deletion removes the account record and supported retained live data, including uploads, generated Pattern Summaries, pattern history, support access requests, saved sessions, and synced diagnostics.
Backups are encrypted. Backup or snapshot removal may not happen immediately and is not guaranteed on the same timeline as live-system deletion.
4. Service and Plan Effects
Retention windows may vary based on service operations, account state, and the active plan tied to your account.
Uploads, including invalid uploads, currently consume usage according to the existing billing and quota logic. Automatic refunds are not provided as part of current product behavior.
